Travis Scott Is Already Wearing Next Year’s Hottest New Dior Sneaker

Miami might be overrun with the Art Basel crowd this week, but for the fashion set, all eyes were on Kim Jones’s first Dior Men show to be held in the United States. Gigi Hadid, Kim Kardashian, and Pusha T all took time out of their busy Basel schedules to attend, but for the eagle-eyed sneaker fiend, Travis Scott proved the most exciting appearance of the bunch: Scott was entrusted with debuting the highly anticipated Air Jordans 1 x Dior collab (aka “Air Dior,” as the wings on the shoe read) just before he took his front row seat.

Aside from the frosty grey and white sneakers, which are set to become one of the most expensive Air Jordans ever produced (the limited run of only 1,000 pairs are retailing at $2,000 with the first drop in April of next year), Scott kept the rest of his outfit relatively simple, opting for black work pants, a fleecy white button-down, and a printed saddle bag. It’s certainly a hefty price tag for a pair of trainers, but they do have some neat features—the edges of the Italian leather kicks are all hand-painted, and the iconic Nike swoosh is filled in with the French house’s signature jacquard print. April 2020 is just around the corner, but in the meantime, Scott is living out every sneakerhead’s ultimate fantasy.
