Travis Kelce's ex Kayla Nicole has made it clear she's done dating athletes. Speaking on the Behind the Likes podcast, Kayla said "never say never" but she "wholeheartedly" believes she's “out of the athlete stage.”

“I would love to just date someone that... I do think I’m attracted to men in positions of power and I also think that those types of men are attracted to me,” she said, via Page Six, adding that she'd "love" to date a record label executive or a producer.

I mean, SAME!

“Like, let’s date night, be courtside, that’s my kind of guy,” Kayla added. “I don’t really need to go to any more sporting events.”

Travis and Kayla dated in 2017 and—after a few on-again/off-again years—parted ways in 2022. Barstool Sports reported on allegations that their split had something to do with Travis making her pay for "half of everything" and being "cheap," which he fully denied. "You've got to be crazy if you'd think I would never help or gave her a couple thousand to grab some food or she gave me some money to go get some food," he said. "We were in a relationship for five years. A hundred dollars here, a hundred dollars there wasn't even thought about."

Kayla has spoken about their split in light of Travis dating Taylor Swift, explaining why she unfollowed her close friend Brittany Mahomes.

"To everyone it's like, 'Oh, you broke up a year ago,' and that meant it's like a light switch, you turn it on and off and everything goes dead and black and you don't ever speak to anyone ever again," she explained to People. "That's not reality. I have ongoing relationships with all parties involved."

Kayla added that she and Brittany have "a lot of history and friendship," but that "because things are happening so quickly and so publicly, I have to protect myself. That's really all that is. The love is still there."
