Travis Kelce’s Slip Up Has Fans Believing He’s Thinking of Kids with Taylor Swift

Fans of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift think the football star has babies on the brain.

After Travis made an interesting yet casual comment during the newest episode of New Heights, the podcast he shares with older brother Jason, fans wondered if he was hinting at having kids soon.

The Kelce brothers were discussing NBA star Victor Wembanyama and his height, with the basketball player standing at a reported 7 feet 4 inches, when Travis joked that he was a "lab-grown NBA player."

He then quipped that he couldn't wait to "make one," leading fans to connect the dots to his current girlfriend, Swift.

But Jason was ahead of the game, warning Travis in the moment, “Don’t do this. Do not give any of these other conspiracy theorists anything else to latch onto, please."

Still, that didn't stop them from going there, and one Swiftie shared an audio clip of the moment with the question, "You can’t wait to make what, Trav?!! 🫢🤔."

"He sure did let that slip ha," wrote one in the replies, as a different fan said, "He’s got marriage and babies on the mind 💍."

But many came to defend Travis and remind fans to not overanalyze all of his comments: "You guys need to understand that they joke a lot in this podcast pls don’t take it seriously."

"There’s truth to that as Trav wants to be a dad…just not today!" read a similar comment, while a third outright stated, "He’s just joking."

While Travis doesn't have his own kids yet, he's known to be a great uncle to his brother Jason's three daughters, Wyatt, Elliotte and Bennett, all of whom the 36-year-old shares with wife Kylie.

Whenever Travis interacts with his nieces on screen, he appears super excited and animated, and his mother, Donna Kelce, noted that he "loves" being an uncle, and "loves kids, period."

With all that in mind, it seems likely that Travis will go on to have kids himself, but it's anyone's guess as to when that will be and with whom.
