Travis Kelce knows a thing or two about good dining. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end has been spotted at buzzy restaurants all over the world—often alongside girlfriend Taylor Swift—but now the NFL star is partnering up with QB Patrick Mahomes for a steakhouse of their own.

The teammates and three-time Super Bowl champs are investors in the Kansas City-based steakhouse, 1587. The project is backed by Noble 33, a.k.a the hospitality group behind one of Kelce's fave spots (Toca Madera) as well as Casa Madera, Sparrow Italia, Meduza Mediterrania, and more. The company is undergoing a global expansion and working on seven additional restaurants to open worldwide in the next 18 months.

"Working with Patrick and Travis has been incredible. As longtime supporters of our other restaurants, we worked together to combine their favorite elements of those experiences into what we developed for 1587 Prime," Noble 33 co-founder Tosh Berman told GMA. "They are natural hosts and can't wait to bring a unique modern American steakhouse experience to Kansas City."

1587 is set to open in 2026. The name is a play on the teammates' jersey numbers, 15 and 87. The 10,000-square-foot space will open in the Loews Kansas City Hotel and take up two floors in total, with "hyper-subtle nods to Patrick and Travis' on-field accomplishments."

"Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City," Mahomes said in a statement. "We're excited to be a part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience, and what better place to start than our very own, Kansas City," Kelce added.

According to Berman, the pair has been dining at the hospitality group's portfolio of restaurants for years and signed on "due to its creative influence and operating prowess within the hospitality space."

Fellow co-founder Mikey Tanha added that the partnership "represents a convergence of culinary artistry, athletic prowess, community enrichment, and unmatched hospitality."
