It's no wonder Travis and Jason's friends ask for them, too.

The internet has been abuzz about the Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift dating rumors for weeks now. While that has led to some fun food moments—like Heinz releasing Ketchup and Seemingly Ranch sauce after Swift was seen eating the combo at the Kansas City Chiefs game—and resurfaced interviews—including one where Kelce shared his favorite pre-game meal—we can’t forget this isn’t the first time the Kelce family has gone viral.

Earlier this year, the Kelce brothers, Travis and Jason (who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles), made history as the first brothers to play against one another in a Super Bowl. But, maybe more importantly, their mother, Donna Kelce, became an overnight phenomenon. Between her half-Chiefs-half-Eagles jersey and her quip that she was rooting for “the offense” during the big game, the country couldn’t get enough of Mama Kelce.

Then, during Super Bowl weekend, Mama Kelce famously brought her sons each a batch of her homemade chocolate chip cookies. She was asked about the sweet moment in interviews—the most asked question, of course, being what’s the recipe?

Donna Kelce gave a few tips in an interview with “NBC Washington,” saying she uses a pretty standard chocolate chip cookie recipe with a few minor tweaks.

“I use both cake flour and regular flour. I take the butter and melt it in the microwave, and it just makes the cookies creamier,” she said. “I add white chocolate and milk chocolate chips, and I also put a little bit of cinnamon. Then I let the dough sit in the refrigerator overnight so all the flavors mesh in together.”

Now, months later, Mama Kelce is in the news again—but this time, for rubbing elbows with some of Hollywood’s hottest celebs, like Jake from State Farm, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and T-Swift herself, of course. And, even though she's found herself at the center of a few ad campaigns—like the NFL's script table read commercial and a collab with KIND for a limited-edition Donna's Purse Snacks redesign—it seems like no one has forgotten about her almost-famous chocolate chip cookies.

Not only did they make an appearance in Travis Kelce’s Pfizer commercial, but Mama Kelce also brought them with her to the “Today Show.”

“These are amazing,” “Today” weatherman Al Roker said.

“These are awesome,” “Today” host Hoda Kotb agreed.

Luckily for us, Donna Kelce shared her official chocolate chip cookie recipe in an Instagram post with “Today,” so now we can finally make the beloved cookies at home. Now, the only question we have is, will Mama Kelce be participating in a cookie swap for Taylor Swift’s chai cookies?

Like Mama Kelce said, everyone has a standard chocolate chip cookie recipe. For some, it’s their grandmothers’ tried-and-true, and for others, it’s the one found on the back of the Nestlé Toll House (or, as “Friends” fans know, “Nestlé Toulouse”) bag. For me, it’s our Best Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe.

As it just so happens, Mama Kelce’s cookie recipe is pretty similar to my go-to—even down to adding the baking soda to warm water. However, with the addition of cinnamon and the mixture of white and milk chocolate chips, Mama Kelce’s flavors took the cake.

I did have a small snafu with the cookie dough being a bit too wet, meaning I had to add extra flour, but other than that, the cookies turned out great with flavor and texture. I’d never describe a chocolate chip cookie as “creamy,” as Mama Kelce did—but she’s on to something. The center is gooey, just how I like my chocolate chip cookies to be, and keeps that consistency even after they’ve cooled.

Overall, because of the minor dough issue, I’d probably stick with my Best Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe—but use the techniques Mama Kelce recommended in February because the flavor was the true winner.
