Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce's viral resurfaced tweets have given fans more insight into his personal life than they ever could have imagined. And the latest one to be dug up couldn't have met more perfect timing as it concerns the holiday season.

A decade ago, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end admitted that he not only loves Christmas music but that he listens to it all year.

"[There] is nothing happier or more positive [than] Christmas music!" he exclaimed in a resurfaced social media post from 2013. "I listen to it all year around, it just gets more intense this time of year!"

Suddenly, the 34-year-old's surprise appearance on his older brother Jason Kelce's charitable Christmas album makes a whole lot more sense.

Is the Philadelphia Eagles center's music career news to you? Well, here's the low down: it all started after the success of A Philly Special Christmas, which raised over $1 million for local charities last year.

After seeing the holiday EP's impact, Jason got back together with two of his teammates–offensive tackles Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata–and his younger brother to record this year's charitable record, A Philly Special Christmas Special. And before you ask, no, Taylor Swift is not featured on it (there's always next year), but the legendary Patti LaBelle is!

As for how the NFL stars became professional Christmas carolers in the first place, well, it apparently all started in the Eagles' locker room. “We sing around a lot, like Lane and I will go in the same car after a game sometimes, and we’ll listen to songs,” Jason previously told Today. Mailata got involved after he stunned his teammates by singing "White Christmas" during a team practice, and the rest is history.
