Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce has been getting a lot of attention for his past tweets, in which he wrote about squirrels, school and Olive Garden, among other things. On the newest episode of his podcast New Heights, which he hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, the 34-year-old took a walk down memory lane with a surprise mention of Red Lobster and his dream meal there.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end discussed his charming old tweets with Jason, with Travis admitting that a decade ago, "I was just using Twitter like a diary. I’m just out here saying nonsense."

He then did some readings of his old tweets, like one that said, "I just gave a squirle [sic] a peice [sic] of bread and it straight smashed all of it!!!! I had no idea they ate bread like that!! Haha #crazy." Jason replied, "First of all, that's the new spelling for squirrel. I'm only spelling squirrel like that from now on."

Another old tweet read, "Up at Olive Garden with papa!! Had to grab the Fettucini with the Chicken Alfredo!! #shmackin." Travis commented, "Olive Garden was one of my favorites. Olive Garden, Red Lobster." This got the brothers talking about Red Lobster, with the two sharing their love for the restaurant's cheddar biscuits.

Imagining his favorite meal there, Travis went on, "I could go there right now, and f--k my stomach up. Absolutely house those cheddar biscuits, little shrimp linguini."

Fans loved the relatable conversation about food and Travis' old social media posts, with one joking about an imaginary conversation, "'Why is Travis listed as ‘Out’ for today’s game?? Is he injured?' 'Nah, he crushed some Red Lobster last night. Can’t get out of the bathroom.' 'Dang.' #shmackin."

"'And f--k my stomach up' Travis is all of us, he understands 90s kids," said another.

Someone else declared, "If the dude doesn’t show up in an Olive Garden commercial next I’m rioting."

"Travis Kelce is the only person to have old tweets dug up that make people love him more," said a different fan, who later proposed, "Petition to have Travis Kelce take a spelling test on the pod."

Many more fans shared how much they enjoyed Travis' down-to-earth social media posts, while also commending him on his ability to laugh off the tweets and the intense public scrutiny he's currently under while in a relationship with Taylor Swift.
