Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce faced the facts showing that his football performance has improved since Taylor Swift started coming to his games.

On Travis' podcast with his older brother and fellow football player, Jason Kelce, called New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Jason brought up the statistics proving that Travis plays better as a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs with Swift in the audience.

Jason said that it was "good" to have Swift rooting for him on-site, noting, "When T. Swift is at the game, you’re averaging 99 yards. And when you’re left with only your friends and remaining family there, you are at 46.5 yards a game.”

The Philadelphia Eagles player asked Travis whether or not he was previously "aware" of this, with Travis responding, “How can I not be?" before saying that he doesn't do as well when he is “left to his own devices.”

Travis further responded to the proof that he almost doubles yardage when Swift is watching, saying that it is “Hard to wrap my head around."

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons, who is a friend of Travis', also commented on the Chiefs player's impressive performance lately on his podcast, The Edge with Micah Parsons, saying, “Travis Kelce's my boy, the best tight end in the league for like the past three, four years, so it's obviously not Taylor Swift."

But, he admitted that the pop star does seem to have a positive effect on Travis: "But I'm gonna tell y’all one thing. When there is a bad girl and she's in attendance and she's watching you, that gives you an extra boost of confidence...Like it's a swagger. It's a confidence when those things happen. Y'all know how it goes."

Previously, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid addressed Swift's attendance in relation to the team's performance, stating, via NFL, "Taylor can stay around all she wants."
