Ahead of their shows in Europe, Travis Barker has had to leave the ongoing Blink-182 tour due to an “urgent family matter,” the band revealed on Instagram earlier this morning.

While the post did not share the reason the drummer had to return home to California, it did say upcoming show dates will be postponed due to his absence.

“Due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return home to the States,” the account posted in an Instagram Story at around 8 a.m. ET today. “The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed. More information in regards to his return to Europe and rescheduled dates will be provided as soon as available.”

Along with Barker, the band includes guitarist Tom DeLonge and bassist Mark Hoppus, who share vocalist duties.

Barker has not commented on the matter, but he did post several Instagram Stories from inside a prayer room presumably located at the airport.

Barker’s wife, Kourtney Kardashian, and her family members have also remained silent regarding the incident.

Barker and Kardashian, who married in May 2022, are expecting their first child together. They announced the happy news in June, though it’s not known exactly how far along the Poosh founder is in the pregnancy.

Kardashian regularly follows her husband around the world for his shows and is the most supportive tour wife, always coordinating with his rocker looks. It’s unclear if she followed Barker to Europe in preparation for this tour, or if she stayed home with her kids in California.
