Travel essentials that will make navigating the airport a breeze

From long security lines to crowded terminals, going through the airport can be a stressful time for most travelers. But with the right know-how and clever products, you can turn your pre-getaway experience into smooth sailing. In this episode of ITK: Out of a Suitcase, travel guru and host Francesca Murray (@onegrloneworld) shows us her stylish and smart airport-ready essentials that she never forgets to pack.

“Going to the airport can be tumultuous, so it’s important that you show up prepared,” Francesca says.

Francesca points out that with all of the waiting around involved with airports, it’s easy to become dehydrated. So she always brings an Owala FreeSip Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle because it’s perfect for keeping drinks cold and comes in a variety of colors.

Next, she suggests getting a passport holder, like the ban.do Getaway Passport Holder, which can keep your passport, credit cards and proof of vaccination all in the same place and easy to access. Francesca also recommends the Lo & Sons Waverley 2 as a travel bag because it can fit a wallet, passport holder, lipstick and hand sanitizer in easy reach while keeping your hands free.

Her go-to hand sanitizer while traveling is the Touchland Power Mist Hydrating Hand Sanitizer. It’s easy to use because it’s a compact spray bottle that lasts for 500 sprays. Finally, Francesca suggests bringing a travel pillow, like the BCOZZY Neck Pillow, because its circular design lets you sleep in various positions.

“With the right products and preparation, airport travel can be a lot less stressful,” Francesca says.
