Vise guys

When Tissot turned 100 back in the 1950s, it marked its centenary with the Heritage Visodate, with lettering that today looks brilliantly retro. That nostalgic look has been updated in the latest iteration, the Visodate Automatic, which includes a date window with the automatic mechanism, combined with a Milanese strap. The result nods to ’50s charm without being twee.

Viva Italia

British grooming brand Thomas Clipper – whose wooden shaving bowls have GPS coordinates showing where the tree came from in the UK – has branched out beyond our shores to debut a collection of travel accessories inspired by the Italian city of Modena. The location of historic supercar manufacturing is also a home of leather craft, hence the area acting as inspiration for the sprezzatura-infused range.

Snap happy

When the stylish man is off on his travels, he needs two things: great luggage and a proper camera to record the journey. Now peerless luxury luggage house Globe-Trotter and Leica have come together for a two-in-one hit. A limited edition of the high performance Leica Q camera has been reupholstered in selected Globe-Trotter leather in inky navy or light pink. The camera case is based on the famous Mini Trotter and its regular vulcanised fibre cover has been replaced with the same tactile leather.

Very Versace

Set off a chain reaction in Donatella’s new range of trainers. Donatella Versace isn’t known for her shy, retiring aesthetic and the house’s new men’s trainers follow that more-is-more-is-more sentiment. The Chain Reaction is something of a whopper: a lightweight but giant sole that apes the folds of a chain – a recurring motif in the Versace universe – with an equally bold trainer on top. Choose from graffiti or leopard print, if you’re particularly daring.
