Netflix has unveiled the first look at Squid Game Season 2.

In the brief trailer, we see Lee Jung-jae’s Seong Gi-hun speaking on the phone. Now sporting red hair, a look he adopted for an unknown reason in the final episode of season one, he tells the person on the other end, “I will find you. No matter what it takes.”

It’s more of a clip than a trailer, but it reveals what we can expect from Squid Game Season 2. Namely, Gi-hun going on the hunt for the creators of the deadly gameshow called Squid Game.

At the climax of the last episode, Gi-hun dyed his hair red and got on a plane with revenge in mind. In this clip, the first footage shown of Squid Game Season 2, revenge is still the goal.

He’s at an airport, which is presumably the arrival point of the plane he boarded in the final episode. That means season two directly follows season one.

It might be a very different kind of show, however. Now free from Squid Game, Gi-hun’s motives have switched from survival to vengeance.

Who's in it? Squid Game Season 2 cast confirmed.
