The debut trailer for Sleeping Dogs has just dropped, and it looks like Russell Crowe is having serious problems.

In the upcoming crime thriller he plays an ex-homicide detective with memory loss, forced to solve a brutal murder he supposedly witnessed but can’t quite remember.

But, as per the official description, “as evidence uncovers secrets tied to his forgotten past, he is led to a chilling truth - sometimes, it's best to let sleeping dogs lie.”

Sleeping Dogs also features Guardians of the Galaxy star Karen Gillan, alongside Márton Csókás, Thomas M. Wright, Harry Greenwood, and Tommy Flanagan.

Adam Cooper directs for the first time, after writing the screenplay for Assassin’s Creed, Allegiant, and Exodus: Gods and Kings.

Sleeping Dogs hits theaters March 22, 2024. Let's hope everyone involved gets paid, unlike how Spider-Man Tom Holland’s Civil War bonus was paid to the wrong actor.
