The first trailer for Maddie Ziegler's first feature film, The Book of Henry, has finally hit YouTube and it was well worth the wait!

Just from watching the two-minute preview of the movie, I can already tell that A) Maddie will have a major role and, B) her character is going to make you cry your eyes out at several points in the movie. Just look at those sad eyes in the screencap above. Like, rip my heart out, why don't you Maddie?!

The movie follows the Carpenter family: a single mom named Susan, her playful eight-year-old son Peter (Jacob Tremblay), and her precocious eleven-year-old son Henry (Jaeden Lieberher) who takes care of them both. When Susan discovers a book written by Henry containing a plan to save his next door neighbor Christina (that's Maddie) from being harmed by her step-father (who's also the chief of police), she attempts to execute the plan with Peter.

It already sounds thrilling, but if you still need convincing that you must see this movie when it hits theaters on June 16th, consider this: There's a dance scene starring Maddie (as Christina) that will give you major Dance Moms feels.
