There’s an official Indiana Jones video game heading to Xbox, PC, and Game Pass, and it looks utterly faithful to the films.

Called Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, it stars Harrison Ford in his ‘80s prime as the legendary archaeologist. Well, more accurately, it stars Harrison Ford’s digitized face.

MachineGames, the developer behind Wolfenstein, opted for a different actor to play his voice: that’s Troy Baker, an established voice actor best known as Joel in The Last Of Us video game series.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a mix of third and first-person gameplay, letting you swing across praecipes with your whip, man anti-aircraft turrets, solve ancient puzzles in long-forgotten temples, and punch nazis in the face.

So those mourning Indy’s final appearance after 2023 swansong Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny can dry their tears, because he can live on in the form of polygons forever.

We don’t yet know what ‘The Great Circle’ of the game’s title refers to, but we have learned the origin of another, as the Saltburn director reveals explicit origin of movie name.
