TRAILER: Black Mirror Season 6 Teases Tantalising Return

Netflix has released the cryptic first teaser for Black Mirror season 6, and it offers a tantalizing glimpse at what awaits in the sci-fi anthology series.

“Six new stories, but one looks a little familiar. Black Mirror returns 2025,” tweets the official Netflix account, along with a mysterious clip showing six strange symbols.

The symbols presumably represent each episode, which flicker and change as the clip progresses. Some split-second frames also show weird computer folders with garbled names that appear written in some alien language.

While it doesn’t offer any actual footage from the upcoming season, we do know one of the six episodes expands on one of the show’s most popular episodes: USS Callister.

Airing in 2017, episode one of season four follows Jesse Plemons’ Robert Daly, a bored office drone who takes out his daily frustrations by simulating a Star Trek–like space adventure featuring his co-workers' digital clones.
