And again this year, they're offering another fun gift idea that doubles as a greener way to grocery shop: reusable mystery bags.

A recent post from the Instagram account @TraderJoesGeek announced the return of the beloved item. Each package comes with three reusable bags featuring state-related themes from across the nation. But you won’t know which ones you’ll get until you open the package—that’s the mystery part.

This is the first time shoppers have seen the mystery bags in stores since the pandemic, and the excitement is apparent. “When Nov comes around, I'm always looking for them around the registers, but they haven't had them since the pandemic... I'm so happy!” said one commenter. “A family tradition. Everyone gets one, and we swap!” said another.

The TikToker behind @TraderJoesObsessed posted a fun unwrapping video, revealing that they got bags from Michigan, Minnesota, and Missouri.
