Trader Joe's Just Released a Dog Advent Calendar
In October, Trader Joe’s announced they would a dog advent calendar this holiday season—and it's available in stores now! Trader Joe’s recently launched a podcast titled Inside Trader Joe’s, where employees spill the store’s behind the scenes secrets and previews of upcoming products. On Episode 8 of the podcast—titled ‘Tis The Season—Trader Joe’s revealed the highly anticipated release of a dog advent calendar.
This week, the calendar appeared in stores and excited dog owners on Instagram began posting their finds. The calendar is available in stores for $5.99 and includes 25 salmon and sweet potato dog treats. Several posts on social media reported the calendar was close to being sold out at many Trader Joe's locations, so head to the nearest Trader Joe's as soon as possible to get your paws on one. On episode 8 of Inside Trader Joe's, Jon Basalone, President of Stores at Trader Joe's, confirmed that Trader Joe’s would be debuting the holiday advent calendar just for your pup—along with a whole line of delicious holiday treats. Marcy Kopelman, Vice President of Merchandising, confirmed that we can expect between 150-200 new holiday products this year.
