Tour de Gnar Founder Yoann Barelli Announces New Bike Sponsor

This summer, Yoann Barelli announced he was leaving Guerilla Gravity. For months we were left to speculate on his next move. The wait is finally over, Barelli officially has a new frame sponsorship.

On October 4th, 2023, Devinci Cycles announced Barelli as a member of their team.

Yoann Barelli is a former racer who now is a YouTube star, Coach, and organizer of the famous Tour De Gnar living in Whistler, British Columbia.

Many were shocked about Barelli leaving Guerilla Gravity so abruptly. However, the embargoed information on Instagram was comedic. Barelli still posted his ride clips, just with a bread emoji in the video.

This move represents a shift in focus from Devinci. This month, the brand announced they were taking a step back from sponsoring an enduro team.

The marketing department clearly decided that a freerider with a big online presence was a better investment of marketing dollars in a tightening bike market. Seeing as the company just released the pedallable freeride bike the Chainsaw, getting Yoann on one is great timing.

I for one can’t wait to see what Yoann is able to do on this new frame.
