Update, 7/15:

Megan Thee Stallion is clarifying some of what happened to her over the weekend, and she said she suffered gunshot wounds and underwent surgery to remove the bullets. She said she's expected to make a full recovery.

"The narrative that is being reported about Sunday's morning events are inaccurate and I'd like to set the record straight. On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me. I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets. I'm incredibly grateful to be alive and that I'm expected to make a full recovery, but it was important to me to clarify the details about this traumatic night. I'm currently focused on my recovery, so I can return back to my life and back to making music as soon as possible."

Tory Lanez was charged with carrying a concealed weapon over the weekend after attending a party with Kylie Jenner and Megan Thee Stallion on Saturday night and early Sunday morning. According to Variety, an altercation at a Hollywood Hills house party led to the police being called, who found a gun in Tory’s SUV.

Meanwhile, TMZ reports police got a disturbance call around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, and witnesses reported that people were arguing in an SUV “before someone fired shots in the air…and the vehicle took off.”

The LAPD located the SUV and booked Tory for carrying a concealed weapon—but Megan Thee Stallion also happened to be in the car and had injuries to her foot from what Variety describes as a “glass wound.”

According to TMZ, Megan cut her foot on broken glass on the floor of the SUV, and police have since listed her as a victim in the incident. The outlet also reports that Megan was taken to the hospital immediately after Tory’s arrest and received treatment to the wounds on her foot.

Before the arrest, Tory was seen hanging out with Megan and Kylie Jenner in a pool, and they briefly went live on Instagram.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that four shell casings were recovered from outside the home where the party took place.
