Culinary itineraries are one of Tronsvang’s specialities. Last year, she planned a weeklong trip to Trondheim-Trondelag, named a European Region of Gastronomy. Standouts included herb and vegetable foraging, brewery visits, and farm stays along the Norwegian coast.

Another is Brim Explorer. “This forward-thinking, creative start-up run is by a female entrepreneur. They offer hybrid ships that take guests whale-watching, northern lights viewing, and sightseeing in destinations such as Tromsø, Lofoten, and Svalbard.”
