The holidays are officially in full swing.

December is here and by the looks of it, Tori Spelling's Elf on the Shelf is kicking off the festive month with a dose of holiday chaos!

On Thursday, the Scary Movie 2 actress took to Instagram to share some of the mischief her tiny pointy-hat-wearing friend had gotten into overnight while she and her family slept.

Recording a video from her kitchen, she captured several small plush elves merrily sitting in pots and pans, as red and green sprinkles and white chocolate chips were seen sprawled across the stove and countertops.

"It’s official… December has started! We awakened to see our elves had traveled far and wide from a land called storage," she wrote in the caption, adding that with them, they brought a reindeer, a dog, and "also 2 of the smallest little elves!"

The brightly-colored sugar crystals thrown thoughtfully about, spelled out a message for the family that simply read the date: Dec 1—an obvious note from Santa's little helpers to prepare for the countdown to Christmas to be in full effect over the next few weeks.

Spelling's 5-year-old son, Beau, obviously got the memo, telling the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum: “mom our elves had babies in the storage box,” per the social media post. She wrapped up the caption by making the popular statement that it's her "favorite time of year."

Followers also caught a glimpse of other sweet confections in the photo slideshow, such as a pan of what looked to be mini muffins, along with several propped-up books based on the red suit-clad characters—namely, Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition, Elf Pets: A Reindeer Tradition, and Elf Pets: A Saint Bernard Tradition.

Assumably, Tori herself (like most parents), set up the untidy scene for the amusement of her children, and we applaud her commitment to spreading cheer throughout her household.

The magic of the season is definitely among us, so in the (presumed) words of every Elf on the Shelf... Let the holiday shenanigans commence!
