Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have announced their impending divorce.
McDermott, 56, made the devastating revelation on Instagram earlier today, June 17, sharing that the two are ending their marriage of 17 years.
Alongside a throwback photo of him and the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress, 50, in front of a VH1 step and repeat, as well as a family photo featuring four of their five kids at the Luskin Orthopaedic Institute for Children's Stand for Kids Gala last weekend, the actor wrote, "It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own."
He went on to assure his followers that their kids were at top of mind throughout the decision, adding, "We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time. We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this. Thank you all for your support and kindness. 🙏."
The pair share daughters Hattie, 11, and Stella, 15, as well as sons Beau, 6, and Finn, 10, and Liam, 16. McDermott is also dad to Jack, 24, whom he shares with previous wife Mary Jo Eustace.
The family has had quite a few downs of late, with the majority having their health affected by mold in their rental home, but the whole crew—minus Liam—was present recently for the aforementioned gala, where they all posed for a few photos for the cameras.
