Tori Kelly Marries André Murillo in “Most Magical Day Ever”: See the First Wedding Photo
Should’ve been him all along. Singer Tori Kelly married basketball player André Murillo this weekend in a beautiful outdoor ceremony, she revealed via Instagram on Sunday, May 20.
Kelly, best known for her hit songs “Dear No One” and “Should’ve Been You,” took to Instagram to post the first photo with her husband—a loved-up shot of the newlyweds kissing in a sun soaked field.
The bride quoted Pastor Tim Keller, a bestselling author and the founder of Redeemer Church in New York City. “‘To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial,’” she wrote, quoting a portion of Keller’s book The Meaning of Marriage. “‘To be known & not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known & truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God.’ — Tim Keller.”
Kelly then graciously thanked her vendors for offering up their support the day of the wedding. “Thank you to everyone who made this the most magical day ever,” she continued. “I’m floating. brb.”

Murillo, a star athlete from Germany, shared the same pic and recited portions of their vows: “For better or for worse. In sickness and in health. To love and to cherish. Till death do us part.” The caption was equally sentimental since Murillo recited a piece of the vows in his engagement announcement last year.
“To have and to hold… to cherish and protect. My best friend said ‘yes’,” he wrote at the time. Kelly and her new husband got engaged last September.

The exact venue of the couple’s wedding ceremony still remains unknown, but the bride looked resplendent in a gown by Galia Lahav. Jamie Wolfer of JW Coordination planned and designed the nuptials. “Words will probably never be able to capture my love for these two amazing humans,” the planner expressed on social media. “Thank you, @torikelly and @acmurillo22 for trusting me with your big day, for your seriously radical friendship. I love you both immensely.”
The event designer ended her statement with a passage from Psalms 118:24: “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” (Kelly and Murillo are both devout Christians.)
