Free the Nipple activist Anni Ma is feelin' the Bern. The Washington Post reports that Ma interrupted a Bernie Sanders rally in Phoenix, Arizona, over the weekend when she "climbed atop a man's shoulders and removed her top" to reveal anti-hate messages in black paint on her chest and back, as well as two nipple-shaped pasties over her areola.

The paint on her back read, "STOP FASCISM," and the message on her chest read, "HATE SPEECH IS NOT FREE SPEECH." This message was not intended for the Vermont senator, who identifies as a Democratic socialist. Ma had intended to protest Donald Trump at his Fountain Hills, Arizona, rally, but told reporters that she was unable to get in. Other anti-Trump protesters had stormed the highway and blocked off access to the Trump rally, causing the event to be delayed.

The Post reports that Sanders "briefly paused upon seeing the topless woman," and that she was "led to the back of the venue without incident." It's not too surprising that Ma felt welcome among Sanders supporters. Earlier in March, the Internet fell in love with a woman who breastfed her baby at a Sanders rally.
