After about a year of waiting, Top Chef fans can finally celebrate the show's return this week. And guys...it's gonna be GOOD. The competition returns to Bravo this Thursday for an All-Star showdown for the books.

The new season is actually called Top Chef All-Stars: LA, which means yes, many of your favorite chefs from previous season are coming back to try and claim their crown. Bravo has already dubbed this the most difficult season of the show ever with chefs competing in some insane challenges.

So then it only makes sense then that the biggest prize in Top Chef history is at stake. Yes, 15 of your favorite contestants will be competing for $250,000. That's a lot of dough, my friends.

In addition to host Padma Lakshmi and judges Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons, contestants like frequent Top Chef participant Jennifer Carroll and season one contestant Lee Anne Wong to take the kitchen's stage. Also along for the ride are celebrity guests like Kelly Clarkson, Jon Favreau, Ali Wong, and Randall Park!

According to the trailer, the chefs will be cooking everywhere from a museum to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, all ending with a finale in Europe. And in case I didn't make it clear before, they say about every five seconds how much harder this season is going to be. But then again, these are the best of the best, so something tells me we're all going to be in for quite the interesting season!

You can catch Top Chef All-Stars: LA starting Thursday at 10 p.m. on Bravo.
