Earth Day is Monday, April 22, and Southwest Floridians really celebrate it every day, from watching our Gulf sunsets to participating in outdoor activities.

For those wondering, the first Earth Day in 1970 and is all about showing support for the environment.

4. Check out Fakefest Festival, featuring tribute bands

Fakefest Festival is a tribute to rock legends from 2-10:30 p.m. Saturday, April 20, with an outdoor concert featuring many great tribute bands including Hardwired (Metallica), Lovesong (The Cure), Razors Edge (AC/DC) and Still Alive (Pearl Jam). 3. Hear final Camerata of Naples concert this season

Camerata of Naples' fourth and final concert of the season features Naples Philharmonic’s Concertmaster Zachary DePue as a featured soloist, performing Vivaldi’s Four Seasons Spring and Summer. 2. Enjoy Earth Day at The Conservancy, Roberts Ranch

The Conservancy is celebrating Earth Day at its Nature Center. The free, family friendly event is 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 20. There's also Earth Day at The Immokalee Pioneer Museum at Roberts Ranch. Participate in an eco-friendly workshop of planting trees and discovering sustainable practices. 1. Wonder Gardens hosting Earth Day Celebration

Enjoy Earth Day Celebration at the Wonder Gardens, featuring education stations, a scavenger hunt, yoga demonstrations, tarot readings, touch tables, yard games, arts and crafts, and photo opportunities on April 20, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. An Earth Day Market will offer a variety of local vendors. Events are free with paid Wonder Gardens admission ― $12 per adult, $10 per senior (ages 65-plus) and $7 per child (ages 3-12). Children younger than 3 are free.
