What are the top 10 most popular baby names in Kansas?

TOPEKA (KSNT) – The Social Security Administration (SSA) is releasing the top names Kansans’ are choosing to name their newborns.

The SSA released the list on Thursday, May 16. It includes the top 100 picks for boy and girls names being used in the Sunflower State for 2023. The top ten for both, along with how many times the names were used, can be found in the lists below:

    • Liam – 172

    • Oliver – 170

    • Noah – 159

    • Theodore – 158

    • Henry – 146

    • James – 123

    • Elijah – 118

    • Hudson – 115

    • William – 111

    • Owen – 108

  • Top 10 Girl Names

    • Amelia – 138

    • Charlotte – 137

    • Olivia – 130

    • Evelyn – 117

    • Emma – 110

    • Eleanor – 100

    • Sophia – 92

    • Nora – 84

    • Elizabeth – 83

    • Ava – 82
