'Too Hot to Handle's Rhonda Broke Down in Tears on the Reunion Show

Viewers of Too Hot Handle are desperate to find out which couples are still together following the end of Season 1.

Fans fell instantly in love with Sharron Townsend and Rhonda Paul, and hoped that the attractive couple could make their relationship work in the real world. Here's what's happened to them since they left the show.

Townsend and Paul aren't together.

In an interview with Women's Health, Paul revealed, "Unfortunately, we are not [together]. We are the best of friends; we still do talk, as far as helping each other out, talking to each other, and things like that."

As for why they're not dating right now, Paul explained, "With everything that's going on now, we actually haven't even had the time to meet since the show... It's been very difficult with that space between us… so we kind of just agreed to be friends for now."

Distance is an issue.

While Sharron lives in New Jersey, Rhonda is based in Atlanta with her son. The distance between them appears to have caused a wedge in their once fledgling relationship. Paul revealed to OprahMag.com, "After the show, we were going strong for a few months." Sadly, the distance between them caused their connection to fade. As Townsend told the site, "I was having family issues. My mom was sick. I ended up closing off again. Not intentionally, but I found myself distancing from her."

Rhonda might be dating someone else.

According to The Mirror, Paul revealed, "Sharron and I are not together, but fortunately I have been able to rekindle a relationship with a special someone." Interesting...

Sharron is still hopeful for the future.

While Rhonda may or may not have moved on already, Sharron hasn't given up hope just yet. The heartthrob told OprahMag.com, "Hopefully there's still a chance that we can still make something work. I got a lot of love for her." Watch this space!

Rhonda broke down in tears on the reunion show.

On the long-awaited Too Hot to Handle reunion show, Rhonda couldn't hold back the tears discussing her time on the Netflix series. She revealed, "And so watching the show back just kind of brought up all the connections I had with everybody, you know, especially Sharron."

She continued, "The experience with me and Sharron is an amazing one, so it's like no-one will ever take that away from us, whether we're together or not." As Rhonda explained, "I wish I could go back and capture some of those moments again, but it's like, I'm just going to make new ones from here."
