'Too Hot To Handle' Star Melinda Melrose Wants Everyone To Know She's A 'Philly Girl'
Season 2 of Too Hot to Handle is filled with sexy cast members who are creating all kinds of steamy moments together, of course. Rules be darned, these singles are living it up like it's still Parties in Paradise. But, naturally, there’s always one contestant who really stands out. You could easily argue Melinda Melrose is carrying the series with her reactions and opinions.
She also happens to be one of the early couples in the mix, with Marvin Anthony. These two have some serious sexual tension and also an amazing connection, with Melinda saying at one point, “If this is what love feels like, I don’t ever want to lose it.”
But while Melinda continues to wow fans with her gorgeous hair changes, one-liners, and sweet connection with Marvin, she had a life before she came on the show. So, who is Melinda Melrose, exactly and is she still connecting with her beach boo? Here’s what you need to know.
She’s a model.
No shocker there, given how easily Melinda can create a moment in front of the cameras. “Melinda loves to be complimented so her modeling work suits her just fine,” reads her bio, per People.
And, she writes in her IG bio: "Created my own runway I’m not too short for."
She’s actually from Philadelphia originally.
Melinda is proud of her hometown and just went on her Instagram Stories to say that all the comments that she’s “born and raised” in Brooklyn are not true. “I currently live in New York City but I am born and raised in Philadelphia. I’m a born and bred Philly girl,” she said. “I currently live here in Brooklyn…my heart will always be Philly.”
In fact, when she saw her intro as "from Brooklyn, NY" she says, "that didn't sit right in my soul."
Melinda's an avid traveler.
She has highlights from her jetting all around the world. She's explored Barcelona, Puerto Rico, Chicago, Thailand, and more. Yes, she has visited Paris, too.
She has a lot of siblings.
I'm talking double digits, 16 siblings, folks. It’s pretty fair to say that Melinda is surrounded by plenty of company at family gatherings.
Melinda likes to mix up her look.
Melinda shared on Instagram in mid-June that she made the cast, writing that “the BIG SECRET IS OUT!!!” Melinda said that she has “sooooo many emotions,” noting that “you can expect to see my many different wardrobe changes and my 5 different wigs lol.”

So, are she and Marvin still dating?
It's not clear if she and her Parisian partner are still together. Womp womp. You know reality TV and wanting to keep people guessing… Melinda hasn’t posted about Marvin on Instagram, but that doesn’t mean they’re not still a couple offline, right? Right?!
I'm also not going to read too much into her absence from a recent Too Hot To Handle screening. There, Emily and Cam posed together and Marvin showed up solo.
