A Too Faced x Kandee Johnson Collaboration Is on Its Way

A Too Faced x Kandee Johnson collaboration is probably, definitely, maybe in the works. Jerrod Blandino, Too Faced's cofounder, posted a picture of the beauty vlogger on Instagram with the caption that included, "I Want Kandee!" and our favorite hashtag, #sneakypeek. Okay, so it wasn't an official announcement, but his post was pretty close to one. For those who are unfamiliar with Johnson but love Too Faced, you may have stubbled upon one of her beauty tutorials during a late-night YouTube binge. She's known for her crazy transformations (once, she made herself look exactly like Ruby Rose with the help of makeup) and has even teamed up with Allure for some videos.
But back to the teaser, a lot of the company's signature pink was present in the photo, including Johnson's lips and hair. (TBH that alone proves this is the perfect paring.) Could Too Faced and Johnson be collabing on a new shade of the Melted Matte liquid lipstick? (For the record, it's one of our faves, so that definitely has our vote.) Her lips are the only apparent hint at what could be launching.
Johnson Instagrammed a sneaky peek of her own, too. Hers, however, was a lot less helpful. Apparently, cupcakes will come into play in some way. In her caption, she said she got to pose with a giant one. In the comments, several people wrote that they are hoping for a cupcake palette. Maybe we will finally get the cake-scented eye shadows we were hoping for with the Funfetti collection. In the world of Too Faced, any sweet scent is possible. (They do have a brow pencil that smells like brownies afterall.)
Last year, the cruelty-free company teamed up with another beauty vlogger, Nikkie Tutorials, for the Power of Makeup collection. It included an eye-and-cheek palette, a liquid liner, a pot of glitter, and mini versions of the company's popular eye shadow primer and mascara. A lipstick and eye shadow palette wouldn't be that crazy given the past collab. We will just have to wait for more Too Faced x Kandee Johnson collection #sneakypeeks.
