Tonymoly Teams Up With K-Pop Group Monsta X on New Lip Tints

If you were to put together a kit of K-pop stars' makeup essentials, the addition of a lip tint would be a no-brainer. No matter what concept a girl or boy group is going for, it's always the go-to lip product. With this in mind, it's no surprise that Korean beauty brand Tonymoly teamed up with a K-pop group, namely Monsta X, for its brand-new lip tint. The collab has been hinted at on Monsta X's Twitter in early September, but the new campaign was officially revealed on Tonymoly's Instagram on Sunday night. A quick video showed Shownu, Minhyuk, Jooheon, Wonho, Kihyun, Hyungwon, and I.M swiping on the Liptone Get It Tint S. I can't help but wonder if this was the stain they were wearing when I interviewed them a couple months ago.

The new gel-like formula comes in six vivid and neutral shades, so almost every member of the members of the popular boy group was designated his own shade. Both Shownu and Minhyuk tried out Spicy Ruby, which is a classic crimson red that you can't go wrong with. Wonho's was Chili Pepper (a rich ruby red that's perfect for fall) while Jooheon went with Red Heart, which is a tomato red that coordinated perfectly with his orange hair and makeup. Kihyun's rosy, MLBB shade is aptly called Oh My Rose, and the youngest of the group, I.M, reached for Baby Coral (an orange-toned pink). Last but not least, Hyungwon swatched the brightest color of the bunch called Pink Coaster (a fuchsia).

The Tonymoly campaign marks Monsta X's first-ever beauty endorsement deal. They join the likes of T-ara, BTOB, Hyuna, and B1A4 as the latest faces of the K-beauty brand, which is known for its adorable products and fun food-themed collabs.

Unfortunately, the Liptone Get It Tint S is only available in South Korea at the moment, but you can shop Tonymoly's other lip tint options such as the Get It Tint Mini Trio for $17 on revolve.com right now.
