Tony Hawk’s Skatepark Project Teams Up With Yinka Ilori
As a non-profit organization, The Skatepark Project – founded by Tony Hawk – has been a proponent of conserving more than 600+ public skate parks in the United States; raising millions of dollars in scholarships and community funding.
For the Fall 2022 season, TSP has teamed up with Yinka Illori, to design and create an installation of skateable objects, running from October 19 to October 23. The British-Nigerian artist will assemble a complete park made up entirely of YI pieces. Additionally, the installation will run as part of a standalone event for Unique Design x Paris – alongside Paris+ Art Basel.
Welcoming visitors of all ages, the experiential site will benefit TSP through ticket sales available on the UDxP website.
