Tony Hawk Recalls his Time With Evel Kneivel "Searching for Launch Ramps and Buses"

It doesn't get much cooler than this.

Not sure if Tony Hawk has been digging through his archives or simply stumbles upon legendary photos like this from time to time, but this is easily one of the coolest photos you'll see today.

On this legendary day in 1999, Tony Hawk and Evel Kneivel were on a mission to find launch ramps and buses. Now, I know you're all wondering if Tony got to keep that rad jacket and I wish I had an answer, but I'd like to think he did and throws it on every so often.

"Searching for launch ramps & buses with Evel Kneivel in 1999," wrote Tony on Instagram, and again, the photo is pure gold. Travis Pastrana commented, "I need this blown up and put on my wall. Such a rad photo!" and he's onto something there...this deserves to be blown up and framed for sure.

Tony has accomplished a lot in his career—we know that—but I'd bet this even has to be at the top of his list of legendary moments. And don't forget that 1999 was the year Tony landed the 900!

Two icons frozen in time.

Fun fact: Evel Kneivel was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1999 as well. What a year.
