Tonight's Riverdale Episode is About to Be a Wild Right for Betty Cooper
Warning: This post contains spoilers for Riverdale season 5 episode 8.
Things are heating up in Riverdale and Betty Cooper is at the center of it all. In the teaser for tonight's episode, "Destroyer," we see our fave FBI agent taking on yet another mystery and once again, it's very personal.
In last week's episode, we find out that Betty's sister, Polly, is still alive...at least she was. Polly calls the house from a payphone on the lonely highway, but by the time Betty and her mom, Alice, get to the payphone, it's knocked over and covered in blood.
From the looks of the teaser for tonight's episode, Betty's search for her sister continues. "Someone is kidnapping, murdering, and torturing women," Betty says as she is seen looking at a photo of her and Polly. "It's just pure evil, but I'll be damned if I let it happen to anyone else."
The teaser ends with a closeup of a tearful, stressed out Betty. Throughout the season, we've seen Betty deal with the residual effects of getting kidnapped by a murderer while training for her FBI job and it seems like tonight is when things are finally going to catch up to her. As for if she'll be able to stop the murders in Riverdale, we will just have to wait and see.
