After nearly 20 years of marriage and two kids, the couple is calling it quits.

Toni Collette reactivated Instagram to let the world know she and musician David Galafassi have decided to divorce. Or at least, that's how it seems anyway.

Five days ago, the Hereditary actress reactivated Instagram and shared a cute photo of herself peering outside a train window with the caption, "I’m back. Hello world. I love you 💘." She also uploaded a snap of her parents in honor of their anniversary, as well as eight other images and videos without any context.

Fast forward to earlier today, the Australian actress, 50, shared a photo of a wall art installation made out of a vibrant flower arrangement that read "Peace & Love." Along with the picture, Collette typed out a joint statement from her and her soon-to-be ex-husband.

"It is with grace and gratitude that we announce we are divorcing. We’re united in our decision and part with continuing respect and care for each other," the statement read in part.

Collette and Galafassi share two children, a daughter Sage, 13, and a son Arlo, 11. The two said their children's well-being would remain a priority as they navigate through this difficult time.

"Our kids are of paramount importance to us and we will continue to thrive as a family, albeit a different shape," the caption read.

The couple's statement continued: "We’re thankful for the space and love you grant us as we evolve and move through this transition peacefully. Big thanks.

The couple first met in 2002 and married in a Buddhist ceremony about a year later, on January 11, 2003. News of the split came after photos of Galafassi, 44, kissing and hugging another woman while on a Sydney beach were published by The Daily Mail.
