Toni Braxton’s Engagement Ring From Birdman Is Missing From Her Luggage

Help! Toni Braxton’s engagement ring from Birdman is missing from her luggage. The singer-songwriter took to Twitter right before Thanksgiving to plead with Delta to locate and track down the valuable piece, which she’s affectionately named “Bonnie.”

Braxton’s large ring was originally tucked away in her Louis Vuitton luggage, and while the suitcase was recovered, certain items from the bag were missing, she shared on social media Tuesday. “Hey everyone, @delta located my LV Train Case! Yay!” she tweeted. “Unfortunately most of my jewelry items are missing…including MY ENGAGEMENT RING! Whoever BORROWED it…PLEEEASE return it!!!! I promise, no questions asked!”

Braxton has also been in touch with Delta directly, and a person from the airline replied to the tweet Wednesday.

The bauble itself features a canary diamond center stone with a pave white diamond halo. Birdman and the Braxton Family Values star announced their engagement earlier this year.

Of course this is a nightmare situation for anyone traveling through the holidays. First, we hope the ring was insured as suggested immediately to couples pending any wear in public, whether it be a trip to Antigua or an excursion down the road to the gym.

We also recommend that anyone traveling should always pack the ring in a carry-on bag, safely tucking it away in advance of airport security. Keep the bauble in a medium-size box or another discreet safeholder rather than a traditional ring box to avoid calling further attention to the item.
