Tom Pidcock appears to already be off to a hot start in the 2024 mountain bike season. The 24 year old road and XC sensation took the win at the first stop of the Shimano MTB Supercup in La Nucia, Spain over the weekend.

Pidcock came from behind late in the race to snag a thrilling victory over New Zealand's Samuel Gaze. Here are some photo highlights from Pidcock's victory.

Pidcock is gearing up for the Paris Olympics this summer and, by the looks of it, he's going to be a podium contender. Pidcock transitioned part time to mountain biking in addition to his illustrious road career a year or so ago and since then he has been absolutely electric on the XC course.

Pidcock brings a sort of aggressive edge that only comes from jockeying for position in road races. He is not afraid to get physical and fight his way to the podium. It will be exciting to see what he can do come late July when the Olympics roll around.

Keep an eye out for more from him throughout this early XC season.
