Tom Holland Gave His Younger Brother a Haircut at Home, With Impressive Results

We're well into staying at home due to the pandemic now and more and more folks — celebrities included — are choosing to take their hair into their own hands. A-listers like Jessica Alba, Chrissy Teigen, and Gisele Bündchen have all thrown caution to the wind and cut their kids' hair at home, and believe it or not, the results haven't been half bad. Most recently, Marvel star Tom Holland took it upon himself to give his younger brother, Harry Holland, a haircut at home, and despite some ups and downs, it turned out great.

The 23-year-old actor documented the brotherly moment on Instagram Live where he was joined by hairstylist Christine Nelli, who kindly walked him through the haircut one step at a time. At first, it started off a bit shaky with Tom using the wrong type of clippers and then pouring an entire glass of water over his brother's head when Nelli told him to wet Harry's hair, but once they got through that, things started to look up. Tom eventually got the hang of it, and with Nelli's guidance, he was able to take off a good amount of Harry's hair without butchering it. In fact, you'd probably never guess that someone with no formal training cut it.

Harry ended up liking the haircut enough to share the look with his fans on Instagram, which he did in the form of an adorable black-and-white photo of himself with his newly short hair. As you'll see in the video, it was long enough to pull into a bun before. Since the post went up, countless folks have taken to the comment section to praise Tom's work, leaving comments like, "Tom did a good job 😂❤️," "So prouddddd," and "awh it’s adorable."

Props to Tom for doing such a solid job — and of course, to Nelli for helping him out with her expertise. If you, too, are interested in cutting your hair or someone else's at home, check out our handy guide, which has some excellent advice from the pros.
