Tom Holland Covers the Fall 2019 Issue of GQ Style

When he was only 18 years old, Tom Holland beat out 7,000 other boys for the role of Marvel’s Spider-Man. Now, five years and several billion box office dollars later, Holland’s life has changed just a bit. He’s proven he’s got range well beyond the superhero genre, for one. And as Zach Baron writes in the fall issue cover story, he’s encountering the full-on force of modern celebrity for the first time: “Holland’s been learning, sometimes the hard way, that he is returning to a world that is not the same as the one he left, as more or less a civilian, five years ago. Millions of people now care about what he does, who he does—or doesn't—date.” How’s Holland holding up? Baron allowed himself to get smoked on the golf course by the 23-year-old to find out. The cover story—featuring Holland wearing fall’s flyest fashion in a shoot by Fanny Latour-Lambert and styled by Mobolaji Dawodu—lands on GQStyle.com on Tuesday.
