Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson

Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson made the premiere of the war drama series Masters of the Air, which Hanks is an executive producer on, a family affair, bringing along sons Chet, 33, and Truman, 28.

The family gathered for photos on the red carpet, with Hanks wearing an all-black suit as Truman wore a black suit and lighter shirt, with both men forgoing a tie. Meanwhile, Chet donned a dark green velvet suit jacket with a black shirt and tie underneath, as Wilson rocked a sparkling black skirt and leather jacket.

At the event, Wilson took a moment to celebrate the night out with her family, telling ET, "It's really fun! It's great."

Hanks chimed in, joking, "We get in free tonight, so it's pretty great." The premiere took place at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Hanks reminisced about times spent watching movies at the well-known theater in the past, with Truman and Chet trying to remember their first time visiting the Regency Village Theatre.

Wilson cheerfully recalled, "I remember standing in line to see Star Wars here, the original Star Wars," before Hanks mentioned his other son Colin, whom he shares with his first wife, the late Samantha Lewes, saying, "We also remember the [other] times, [like when] I dropped off my son Colin to see Batman by himself here one Saturday afternoon." Hanks and Lewes also share a daughter named Elizabeth.

Along with Hanks, Wilson and their kids, the night was also significant for the Spielberg family, as fellow executive producer Steven Spielberg also attended the premiere with his son, Sawyer Spielberg, who has a supporting role in the series.

Masters of the Air premieres on Apple TV+ on Jan. 26, and it serves as a companion series to the critically acclaimed shows Band of Brothers, which came out in 2001, and The Pacific, which aired in 2010. Masters of the Air has an extensive ensemble cast, including Austin Butler, Callum Turner, Barry Keoghan and more.
