The fifth season of Netflix's supernatural drama Lucifer might be its last, but it's going out with style. Tom Ellis, who plays the titular fallen angel, just shared a behind-the-scenes video from the set of the fourth episode, which we now know will be a musical. In the black-and-white footage, taken between takes, Ellis channels Gene Kelly in the classic movie Singin' in the Rain, complete with hat and umbrella, which should give fans some clues as to the tone and style of the episode.

"We had so much fun shooting episode 4 of #Luciferseason5," Ellis wrote. "In between takes I found an umbrella and made this video with the ever imaginative @joshstyle sometimes I love my job. Other times I can’t believe it’s a job."

The episode is expected to be an homage to Old Hollywood; it will be filmed entirely in black-and-white, and will drop the characters into an alternate version of the 1940s. "We’re touching on a period where the language is different," Lesley-Ann Brandt told Entertainment Weekly. "What we’re wearing is different, the points of view are different and within that, it’s challenging because the audience knows the characters from season one."

Ellis also told Entertainment Weekly that this episode will provide some more backstory on Lucifer's character: "We tell a story that answers the question a lot of fans have been asking actually... The lovely thing about this episode is you see a lot of our regular characters in a different light. There’s an element to Lucifer where he seems to be from the Oscar Wilde period. And to see the other characters fall back into that style is quite interesting."
