Just days after missing the 95th Academy Awards this weekend, the Top Gun: Maverick star was in London celebrating the birthday of legendary actor Michael Caine, who turned 90 on Tuesday, March 14.
In joyous new photos from the birthday festivities, Cruise, 60, is seen with his arm around Caine as they enjoyed a fancy dinner party with more guests at The River Café in upmarket Fulham, West London. Other notable attendees included Caine's wife, Shakira Caine, Mission Impossible writer Chris McQuarrie and Britain's Got Talent judge David Williams.
Williams, 51, captured some of the highlights of the night to Instagram after the celebration, including numerous shots of Cruise and Caine embracing each other to pose for the camera.
"Happy 90th Birthday to the legendary Sir Michael Caine," he wrote in honor of The Dark Knight actor's big day.

Cruise and Caine—who both appeared in the 2002 comedy Austin Powers in Goldmember—were also joined by Waterloo Road actress Denise Welch, who was invited to give a toast at the dinner celebration.
"Such an honour to be asked by Shakira to say a few words at Sir Michael Caine's 90th birthday!!!" Welch wrote in an Instagram post, alongside a video capturing her speech, which included a NSFW quip about "Olympic condoms."

"No way is that Tom Cruise & Michael Caine.... just fainted 😂 I can't imagine being at the same table as Hollywood Royalty 😯" added another.
"Tom Cruise skipping the Oscars to watch Denise perform stand up was not on my 2023 bingo card," someone else quipped in the comments, and honestly, same.
