Bridget Moynahan Reacts to Tom Brady’s Retirement News With the Most Supportive Instagram Post

It's official: After weeks of speculation, Tom Brady has retired from the NFL. His 22nd season ended short of a Super Bowl appearance, but his legacy as arguably the best quarterback to play the game will never be forgotten.

In his February 1 Instagram announcement, Tom thanks his coaches, teammates, and fans, but ends with a heartfelt message to his family. Tom wrote, "And lastly to my wife, Gisele, and my children, Jack, Benny and Vivi. You are my inspiration. Our family is my greatest achievement."

Tom and his wife Gisele Bündchen have been married since 2009, and the couple has two children, Benjamin and Vivian. He shares his oldest son, Jack, with Blue Bloods star Bridget Moynahan, and the two have been praised for their coparenting relationship.

Celebrities and fellow athletes have been showering Tom with support since he made the announcement, but Bridget's post has gotten a lot of attention from her fans.

She posted a photo of Tom in his Bucs uniform with the caption, "So proud of @tombrady. Yesterday and today and I know you will do great things tomorrow. Looking forward to the next steps."

Her post has received thousands of likes and messages of support. One fan wrote, "Your devotion to your son’s happiness and leading by example in always cheering on his dad are really beautiful ❤️👏" and another said, "Bridget, you are a co-parenting inspiration to so many. Cheers to your class, and focusing on what’s most important- family, no matter how it looks!" Another wrote, "❤️ love the character you portray on Blue Bloods but your real life character is pure class......#lovefromtoronto ❤️."

We can't wait to see what's next for Tom and his blended family.
