Tom Brady — the twice-retired quarterback who many consider to be the GOAT of the NFL — has a teen who just might want to follow in his footsteps. Well, kind of. Benjamin, 13 — who Brady shares with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen along with their daughter Vivian, 10 — is starting to play football.
On an episode of Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray, said that while this may be “Benny’s” first year playing, he already has high aspirations and an NFL icon he wants to live up to.

And no, it’s not his dad.
“I was like, ‘What do you wanna play?’ And he was like, ‘Tight end. I wanna be like Gronk!'” Brady said, talking about his former teammate Rob Gronkowski. “So I actually texted Gronk and I’m like, ‘Yo, my boy wants to be like you!’ And he loved it.”

Oof! Sorry Ben doesn’t want to be a QB like you, Brady, but we don’t blame him for looking up to Gronk. He is pretty legendary.
Brady has a second son — John “Jack” Moynahan — who he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan. Jack turned 16 earlier this month, and people were fawning over Brady’s sweet birthday tribute.
“16 years of joy with [the] ( sweetest, kindest, most loving etc etc 🥰❤️) son, brother, friend and teammate any parent could ever hope for,” Brady captioned his post. “You have changed our lives since the day you were born and everyday since has been such a blessing for everyone who knows you and is lucky to have you in their life.”
What was perhaps most incredible about the photos is how much Jack looks like his father. “Jawline genes are CRAZY,” one person said. “Tom Brady’s son looks more like Tom Brady than Tom Brady looks like Tom Brady.”
They may look alike, but Brady hasn’t said if Jack wants to mirror his career. Maybe Gronk is more his style too. That said, Brady has mentioned before that he doesn’t want Jack to feel pressured to pick up a pigskin.
“I hope he finds the things in his life that allow him to get up every day to be internally motivated to work hard at something he loves to do,” he said earlier this year. “I wouldn’t choose for him to (play football), because there’s too many crazy expectations that people would put on him, most of them probably very unfair, actually…I think that’s what we as parents should support our children’s dreams whatever they may be.”
Even if those dreams are to be just like Gronk.
