Tom Brady isn’t just making headlines for his rumored romance with former Victoria’s Secret Angel Irina Shayk following his divorce from Gisele Bündchen, as his football career is also gaining a lot of attention too!

Rumors about the seven-time Super Bowl champ coming out of retirement have been swirling for a while now. However, he has once again maintained that he is retired for good, and told what we assume would be some very broken-hearted listeners so on the latest episode of his SiriusXM Let’s Go! podcast with Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray.

Tom Brady Addresses Rumors That He's Coming Out Of Retirement

The topic of Brady, 46, coming out of retirement came up when the episode's guest, YouTuber Jimmy 'MrBeast' Donaldson, joked that having Brady saying that he would come out of retirement would give his episode enormous ratings. However, Brady said that he wouldn’t even joke about that sort of thing, mainly because of the backlash he would get from his family.

"I am not coming out of retirement," Brady very bluntly said, adding that he "can't tease that" due to the consequences he would face from his loved ones. "My parents would call, my kids would call," he continued, adding, "They'd kill me. I wouldn't be around by tonight. As I said, you're only allowed one un-retirement. And I've used it up."

Tom Brady Previously Addressed Whether He Would Play For The New York Jets

Last month, there were rumors about Brady potentially coming out of retirement to play for the New York Jets following Aaron Rodgers' devastating Achilles injury during Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills that will leave him unable to play for the whole season. But the former NFL star had a very interesting response when co-host Jim Gray asked him whether he would come out of retirement to become the Jets' starting quarterback on the Monday, September 18th episode of the podcast…

Gray asked, "The question everybody has been wondering is: Have the Jets called and are you considering the Jets?," to which Brady replied: "Next question. You already know. I love being with you guys on Mondays and I love what we got going."

At the time, fans were holding onto the fact that although it wasn’t a yes, it also wasn’t a no! However, there are a few things that are leaning towards the rumors *not* being true, including Brady sounding fairly adamant that he had retired for good in an interview just four months ago. He told Sports Illustrated back in June: "I’m certain I’m not playing again, so I’ve tried to make that clear, and I hate to continue to profess that, cause I’ve already told people that lots of times."
