The Brazilian supermodel admitted in 2009 that Moynahan's pregnancy was "definitely a surprise." “In the beginning, you’re living this romantic fantasy; you’re thinking, This can’t be true, it’s so good! And then, Whoops—wake-up call!” she shared in an interview with Vanity Fair. “We were dating two and a half months when he found out, and it was a very challenging situation. Obviously, in the beginning, it’s not the ideal thing.”

Nonetheless, Bündchen felt "blessed" to have Brady's son in her life. “I understand that he has a mom, and I respect that, but to me, it’s not like because somebody else delivered him, that’s not my child. I feel it is, 100 percent,” she famously said. “I want him to have a great relationship with his mom, because that’s important, but I love him the same way as if he were mine. I already feel like he’s my son, from the first day.”

The model is also thankful for her husband's ex. Bündchen explained to PEOPLE, "I’m so grateful for [Bridget]. I know this was hard, but I couldn’t imagine my life without [Jack]. I call him my bonus child.”

“He opened my heart in ways I didn’t even know my heart could expand,” she added. “I fell in love with him.”

Like Brady, Moynahan has found a supportive partner, businessman Andrew Frankel, who she married in 2015. Together, the exes and their spouses make a winning co-parenting team. “Tom and I made a decision to raise a child together and we both found partners that not only supported us in raising that child, but also loved our child as if he was their own,” Moynahan previously told PEOPLE. “I don’t think you can ask for more than that. My son is surrounded by love.”

Following her ex's decision to retire from the NFL in 2022 (before he took it back), Moynahan shared a photo of Brady on Instagram writing, "So proud of @tombrady. Yesterday and today and I know you will do great things tomorrow. Looking forward to the next steps."

The Blue Bloods actress' son has taken after his famous father in more ways than one. “Jack is just like me—he holds a lot in," Brady revealed in a 2019 interview with Men's Health. “Jack loves sports. He wants to try hard, and he never wants to disappoint his dad. That was me. I’d wake up early on weekends to do stuff with my dad. That’s why I didn’t party a lot. If Dad wanted to golf, I wanted to be there with him. And if I ever missed those things, it would crush me."

While Jack has inherited his father's love for sports, Brady's youngest son has different interests. “When Benny came along, I thought he would be just like Jack. So I was like, ‘C’mon, let’s do this.’ And he was like, ‘Nope.’ And I was like, ‘What? No, do this!’ And Gisele kept saying to me, ‘Would you effing understand that your son is different?’ It was hard for me," Brady confessed to Men's Health. "I was like, ‘What do you mean? He’s a boy; he should just do all these things that I do.’ The reality is that Benny just likes different things. And it’s great because now I just have to go do what he wants to do. When we do that, we have the best time. He’s like, ‘OMG, Dad, you’re so funny.’ He loves joking, and I joke back.”

Tom Brady's daughter Vivian is daddy's girl

Meanwhile, Vivian has Brady wrapped around her finger. "It's the worst–well, it's not the worst for me, I think it's the worst for my wife who's trying to instill some discipline in her and I just give her whatever she wants," Brady told Entertainment Tonight in 2016. "But isn't that what men are supposed to do for daughters?"

He added, "Yeah, there's princesses, and My Little Pony dolls, and it's just the cutest thing ever."
