Tom Brady Calls Son Benjamin a 'Superhero' in Tearjerking Birthday Tribute — But Followers Are Calling Him Something Else Entirely

Tom Brady is getting emotional while celebrating his youngest son’s 14th birthday, but his social media followers are hyper-fixated on something else.

On Friday, the legendary quarterback shared a selection of photos on Instagram of Benjamin, whom he shares with his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, alongside a heartfelt caption. “My son Benny, can you believe it? Fourteen years old already! It seems like yesterday you were running around in your superhero cape, and now you’re definitely a superhero to me ❤️,” the dad of three sweetly penned.

“You’ve grown so much, and not just in height (seriously, watch out @gronk),” Brady joked before turning serious. “You’ve grown in kindness, smarts, and all-around awesomeness. Your ability to make people laugh, your knack for solving problems, and your endless debating skills 🤣 make you a force to be reckoned with.” The doting dad added, “We love you so much. You are a blessing to us all and we adore you!”

And, because teenagers, Brady tacked on, “P.S. No, you can’t stay up until 3 AM playing video games now that you’re 14. Nice try tho 🤣”

Brady made the featured image of the birthday tribute one of Benjamin in a football uniform, donning his dad’s former number 12. The retired NFL player shared another photo of the teen at a football game with his younger sister Vivian, 10, whom Brady also shares with Bündchen. Additionally, the proud papa also included a photo of both his sons — he shares his eldest, Jack, 16, with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan — playing basketball at a gym.

Superfans of the multi-Super Bowl-winning champion couldn’t help but express their hopes for Benjamin entering the NFL as well. “The next 🐐,” one person wrote. Others commented, “Lil bro destined for greatness 🔥,” “Upcoming Super Bowl champion,” and “Him and Jack are the next Peyton and Eli,” referring to Jack’s shared love of the game.

At the beginning of the 2023 NFL season, Brady opened up about Benjamin embracing the sport — something he previously wasn’t interested in. On his podcast Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers player shared, “My son is gonna play football this year, Benny, so I’ve been throwing the ball to him in the backyard.”

Brady opened up further, divulging, “[H]e wants to be a tight end like Gronk [Rob Gronkowski], and he’s gonna be a little beast. He’s an amazing kid and he’s got a lot of talents. He’s a really talented musician and artist,” the Hall of Famer proudly shared.

Brady added, “And then he told me this year, ‘Dad, I’m playing football.’ And I was like, ‘What do you wanna play?’ And he was like, ‘Tight end. I wanna be like Gronk!'” He continued, “So I actually texted Gronk and I’m like, ‘Yo, my boy wants to be like you!’ And he loved it.”

With both Jack and Benjamin nurturing their skills on the field, maybe we really will see another powerhouse sibling phenomenon in the NFL — what a legacy to watch unfold!
