Tom Brady, BetterHelp team up to give customers one month of free therapy sessions

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and Tom Brady is partnering with online therapy platform BetterHelp to offer consumers one month of free therapy sessions.

The partnership, announced Friday, aims to "destigmatize seeking help and inspire individuals to prioritize their mental health alongside their physical well-being," according to a news release.

“I’ve been in therapy for 25 years and it has been a pivotal part of my health and mental resilience,” said Brady in the news release. “That’s why I’m so excited to make therapy more accessible to my entire community by partnering with BetterHelp to get people started on their own therapy journeys,” he said.

"Everyone deserves access to the life-changing benefits of therapy," said Danny Bragonier, co-founder of BetterHelp, in the news release. "We hope this partnership inspires many more people to start their own journeys towards better mental health."

How to get a free month of BetterHelp therapy

To claim a free month of therapy in May, new users can visit betterhelp.com/tombrady to take the quiz and get matched with a licensed therapist online.

According to BetterHelp, founded in 2013, it has a network of over 35,000 licensed therapists and has helped "millions of people take ownership of their mental health." The company says it is dedicated to making professional counseling and mental health services accessible through a computer, tablet or smartphone.
