Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews Just Made 'DWTS' Fans Lose It on Instagram

Dancing With the Stars may be entering a new era soon with the show's move over to Disney+, but former cohosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews are celebrating their friendship that started years ago on the show.

In honor of their birthdays (which are only two days apart!), Tom shared a black-and-white photo collage of him and Erin on Instagram. It featured pics of them together on and off the Dancing With the Stars’ ballroom floor. What’s more, Tom also included a photo of the two with a birthday cake, most likely from a past party.

“Happy Birthday to…us!! 😉😘 (5/4 & 5/6),” he captioned the Instagram post on May 5. (In case you’re wondering, Erin’s birthday is first followed by Tom’s).

Reacting to Tom’s heartfelt birthday shoutout, Erin shared her appreciation for him in the comments section. “Love u!!!!!!!!! And miss u,” she wrote.

As Dancing With the Stars viewers know, Tom and Erin shared cohosting duties on the ABC dancing competition show until July 2020 when the pair was let go (Tom had hosted the show since its debut in 2005 and was later joined by Erin in 2014). When he broke the news to fans on Twitter, he expressed his gratitude for the experience and the "lifelong friendships" he made while on the show, including his friendship with Erin.

Nearly two years since the duo abruptly left the reality competition series, the Dancing With the Stars fandom hasn’t forgotten about the cohosts. Unsurprisingly, seeing Tom and Erin interact online caused some to lose it. Many wished Tom and Erin a happy 67th and 44th birthday, respectively.

“Happy birthday to you both!!! Please come back to DWTS!!!” one person wrote. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY @tombergeron and @erinandrews @dancingabc isnt the same [without] u guys we want u guys back i love u guys soooooo much,” another added. “Miss y’all on DWTS!!!! You two were the best hosts that show ever had!” a different fan said.

Since leaving Dancing With the Stars, they have remained in front of the camera in different ways. Tom is currently working on making his comeback to TV with his new project, a modern remake of the game show Tic-Tac-Dough. Meanwhile, Erin has continued her NFL sidelines coverage for Fox. Will Tom and Erin return to Dancing With the Stars season 31? We’re not 100% sure, but it likely won’t happen. As of right now, solo cohost Tyra Banks is expected to resume her role in the fall, despite rumors that say otherwise.

DWTS aside, we love seeing these two still be great friends. Here’s to seeing more pics of them together, no occasion needed!
